I typically advise against painting one wall in a space a different color than the other three (Accent Wall). I believe there should be a solid design reason for doing this and not just because it is a trendy thing to do. Below are images of walls that have been painted, stuccoed, color washed, tiled or otherwise treated. These are examples of amazing, successful wall treatments that truly add to the overall design of the space.
